DANIELLE BOURRET

Danielle’s dance experience stretches over the past 40 years. Beginning at the age of 2, she quickly turned into a competitive dancer at age 6 and her dance career took off from there! Throughout her years of extensive dance training she trained and performed in a variety of styles including jazz, ballet, lyrical, tap, acro, musical theater and hip-hop. Having a strong passion for Jazz, Musical Theater and Lyrical.


During Danielle’s competitive dance career she attended many regional and national dance competitions where she won numerous awards including Dancer of the Year at Tremaine and Miss Dance of New England. Danielle has studied under teachers such as Gerrianne Genga, Joe Tramaine, Tony Coppola, Doug Caldwell and Mia Michaels which all helped lead into her dance career as a young adult. She was a featured dancer in the movie Outside Providence with Alec Baldwin and Amy Smart, a featured acro dancer in Las Vegas at Tropicana’s Show Les Folies Bergere for many years and a background dancer for NSYNC in the late 90s. All of these experiences set the pace for dance to continue in her life as a competitive and recreational dance instructor and choreographer for the last 20 years at studios across New England including Warwick Dance, Narragansett Performing Arts, Dance Explosion and currently at the Riverside Theater in Boston.


Danielle’s love for dance is evident as she empowers young dancers to achieve the same goals she had as a child and young adult. Dance is her life! She lives and breathes dance and continues to show her students how to enjoy the hard work and dedication it takes to achieve all of these goals.
